Meet the experts

The Biodiversity Intactness Index for Africa is estimated by convening over one hundred experts in African biodiversity. Collectively, these experts hold invaluable knowledge about how diverse human activities in different African regions are impacting the populations of African species, from lions to lizards. The BII provides a means of aggregating this knowledge into biodiversity data for decision-making.
